1. Ephemeral In-Memory Processing
At PrintPortal, document formatting security is engineered into our platform's foundational architecture. We employ an ephemeral, zero-persistence rendering lifecycle:
- When an authorized operator submits an Aadhaar, PAN, Voter ID, or DL file for CR80 layout rendering, the document is buffered in transient volatile system memory (RAM).
- The formatting engine aligns coordinates, optimizes DPI resolution to 300 DPI, and renders front-and-back print layouts.
- Once the printable bitmap or PDF is returned to the operator's active secure session, the volatile memory buffer is purged immediately.
- No document copies, images, or extracted personal identifiers are stored in persistent disk databases.
2. Transport Layer Security (TLS 1.3)
All communications between operators, our rendering nodes, and third-party banking switches occur over encrypted TLS 1.3 channels:
- Strict HTTPS Enforcement: Non-secure HTTP requests are rejected or upgraded automatically via 301 redirects.
- HSTS Headers: HTTP Strict Transport Security is declared with long max-age caching to block protocol downgrade attacks.
- Cipher Hardening: We support only high-security cipher suites (AES-GCM and ChaCha20-Poly1305) with perfect forward secrecy (PFS).
3. Access Control & Operator Authentication
- Password Protection: Operator passwords are cryptographically salted and hashed using industry-standard bcrypt (cost factor 10+). We never store plaintext passwords.
- Two-Factor OTP Security: Operator registration and forgotten password recovery require mandatory 6-digit CSPRNG one-time passwords delivered via transactional email API.
- Brute-Force Rate Limiting: Endpoints are protected with rate-limiting gateways that automatically throttle and ban IPs exhibiting suspicious or automated query behavior.
4. Financial Ledger Security & Dual Accounting
Our digital wallet infrastructure operates with ACID-compliant MySQL transactional integrity. Balance updates are secured by conditional optimistic row locking, preventing double-spend race conditions and replay attacks with unique cryptographic bank UTR constraints.
